The Eve of a new year...

Alas, a new year begins. Amazing to me are the views of others that on january 1st of any given year a miracle will happen and that year will bring about monumental changes; my health will improve, I'll lose that million pounds, no more buying cigarettes and the list goes on...However, no matter what day, year or month it is miracles happen when choices are made! I will choose to not be lazy and exercise more, I am a non-smoker! Wow, that was easy~NOT! It takes dedication and commitment to accomplish many of the "miracles" people seek at 12:01am January 2012, 13, 14...I personally quit smoking over 4 years ago, so that is not one of my personal miracles this year. I have passed a test that has kicked my ass a couple of times just this past week, so that is not a metaphorical roadblock for me!!!!!! So yes that dreaded "D" word is swirling around on my lips and thighs:-) oh and don't forget D's friend "E", bitch-they even follow each other in the alphabet. So here goes,  got a commitment to myself that will take dedication and lets face it alot of yelling, sweat and tears. It is time though...So 2012 here I come and I am aware miracles do happen, just not by chance~
